Here is a sampling of Caleb's photography skills.

Caleb reminds me of my brother Matthew in this picture. Notice my camera on his hip. He spent this weekend taking pictures everywhere we went. The fall colors inspired him.

What a sight. My big baby sitting in the toy playpen gnawing on a plastic cob of corn!

Capturing a happy morning on camera. Notice the lunchbox filling in process. This is my least favorite aspect of the morning.

An applesauce day. In the fall our lives are filled with many. Last year we ate 300 quarts of applesauce that we put up. We'll see if we reach that canning goal this year. It will probably be a little less because Isaac won't have applesauce as a main diet staple this year.

The Rains and the missionaries join us for a work day surrounding the General Conference Sessions.

Is Caleb taking notes or making paper airplanes?

Caleb called me out to the porch because Daddy looked so cool with his tool belt on. I snapped a picture.

This is me singing "Mama Mia" by ABBA to a blue M&M. It's part of the Ode To Chocolate Cabaret I was involved in at The Palace Theater in Hamilton. The whole night was full of love songs to chocolate. The program was in connection with The Great Chocolate Train Wreck Festival. In the 1950's a train derailed in the village dumping carloads of Nestle's Chocolate. Now, more than 50 years later, we celebrate the wreck by singing to and eating chocolate! Yes, a little strange, but a lot of fun!

We went apple picking with the Rains. The mosquitos were awful, and the apples weren't lovely, but we got a bunch, and we're ready for applesauce making.

The kids found a special bug. Isaac ran around and was well entertained.

Isaac tries to escape out the new front door. I keep the doorknob locked most of the time. He runs right to the wheelbarrow or tractor.

Our neighbor Rylan comes for a visit.

Isaac loves corn and gobbles it all up. He doesn't miss a kernal.
