Each year there is a pizza party on the last day of lessons. Caleb wants me to explain that his ice cream sandwich is cold.
A final noodle jump to the deep end. There are no toys during open swim so after lessons he'll wait until next year.

The last week of swimming lessons. This was the week the kids enjoyed the most. They each "came out of their shells" and tried new things. Josh started running to jump in, Caleb swims the LENGTH of the pool, and Lydia WANTS to be in the big pool.

There were "big kids" playing ball, and Josh walked right over and asked for a turn. Judging by the bat they had available, they anticipated that this might happen.

In the stroller ready to go to the pool and the playground. A daily activity
Josh is holding a tiny toad. We have had so much rain that every time I mow the lawn I find a cute little character. I either stop to catch it or flag the boys down so they can catch it. This becomes useful entertainment. They build houses for them, watch them climb rocks or try to climb out of pails. It's fun. The other night I mowed at 8pm after putting the kids down. I saw a toad and had no one to share it with.
