I love to see Lyddie getting down to business when she colors. She helps herself at the project shelf and gets a paper and crayon. Fun to have a little one-year-old artist.

Caleb's 2nd grade Holiday Concert. He had a "solo" singing a few phrases with a few other children. It was a cute little concert. Notice the little mannerisms that show his shyness. Caleb is on the left of the little group in white and black with a snowflake on his head.

We cut up a large blue hubbard squash from grandma's garden to bake. We ate some, baked a "pumpkin" pie and froze some for later. This was the funnest part!

Lydia helps to decorate the tree. I decorated this year with crocheted snowflakes for a child-proof tree! Added some color with strands of red beads.

The boys tipped over one of the snowmen and had a hilarious time picking it up again. At the end of the video, to encourage Caleb, Joshua tells him to "reach for the berries." That is a line from an episode of Dragon Tales that we check out of the library often. They teach each other to do cartwheels and pretend to pick berries off a tree for the starting position. So the encouraging words are, "reach for the berries!"

Caleb and I built a family of snow men in the yard at the farm. We had a good time. Then the boys played out after I went back in. Fun outside time!

Remodeling Mom's room at the farm. They tore down the lath and plaster(making a DUSTY mess), put up new sheet rock and by Christmas it'll really come together!

Daddy and Lyddie. Lydia was asleep in the car when we arrived. I brought her in, and she slept on a blanket during the entire meal! I actually got to eat with an empty lap!
